'UNASHAMED' is the working title for a new collection currently under construction. Maquettes, initial experiments, have been modelled and are currently drying in preparation for the first bisque firing to 1000 degrees.
The work considers the 'wear and tear' from life.
I am using crank clay, which is gritty and tough.
The next step is to add colour and oxide, and then re-fire to 1260 degrees.
The challenge is to achieve some delicacy amongst the rougher forms.
